fortunes of once-ailing airline AIR CANADA.

The French-Canadian superstar, 37, appeared in a marketing

behind the carrier's number one ranking in North America by the

Céline Dion posed for the Grévin Museum

The Grévin Museum in Paris will inaugurate at the beginning of 2006, the
waxen statue of Céline Dion who has already posed in Las Vegas for
one of the sculptors of the Parisian museum. At the same time, a second
waxen statue will be inaugurated at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in
Las Vegas where she actually performs.

"Our team will carry out a dream by immortalizing the most famous singer
of the world". The Grévin Museum hopes that the singer will come to
Paris for the unveiling-ceremony. "After being received at Céline Dion
and Rene Angélil's in Las Vegas to take all measurements,
pictures and videos which will be used as
a basis of work, the sculptor Claus Velte will take six months
to make the statue", added the direction of the Parisian museum.

Best Singer Of The Year
For The Second Consecutive Year

Céline has been voted Best Singer of 2004 by the Las Vegas
Review-Journal readers. Céline was voted 'Singer of the year'
last year too & her Vegas show: A New Day... received
the award for the Best Show Choreography of 2003.
'The Best of Las Vegas awards' ceremony will be
held on March 24 in the Clint Holmes Showroom.
There are no news about a probable

RENE-CHARLES GOES CRAZY IN "NASCAR" RACE!

Celine's car-crazy 4-year-old-son, Rene Charles Angelil, felt
like a big wheel on Friday (yesterday!). He got the VIP treatment from his

favorite NASCAR racer, Tony Stewart, during pole qualifications for Sunday's
UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 Nextel Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"This is a great, great day for him," said Rene Charles' father, Rene.
"For Christmas we gave him some little cars. He knows all the car numbers
and the drivers, he loves Tony Stewart," Angelil said by telephone,
before Céline headed for her Caesars Palace headliner gig.

Arrangements were made for a Friday meeting with Stewart, who put the young  fan  behind
the wheel and gave him a number of souvenirs, including a signed replica of the orange
No. 20 Home Depot Chevrolet he drives in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
"He's into cars like crazy, said, Angelil."He's got a go-cart and loves to
drive it around" the Lake Las Vegas neighborhood where Céline and her family live.

"Celine was very moved by that because she felt what it's like for a fan to meet their idol.
She saw that in Rene Charles' eyes when he was in the car."

Céline's visit was very quick and created a stir to the garage area to meet with
Tony Stewart.  A NASCAR spokesman said the visit originally was set up
by a driving  school based at LVMS. However, NASCAR
wasn't informed until an hour before the mid afternoon arrival by helicopter.

Stars Team Up For Vandross Tribute Album

Céline, Angie Stone, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige are among a host of
stars who are taking part in a Luther Vandross tribute album. The new
project, which was dreamed up by music mogul Clive Davis, will be
more of a direct translation of the soul veteran's work.

This is really the best of the best singers coming
together. It's going to be an incredible project.
It's basically artists doing Luther Vandross songs, but
they're doing them their way. Some of the arrangements
are very  similar to Luther's arrangements. "Céline
recorded Vandross' Dance With My Father. She also
performed live this song at 2004 Grammy Awards.
Vandross
suffered a debilitating stroke almost two years ago.

"Belong" the new fragrance of Céline Dion

Coty Beauty is out to show Celine Dion is more than a one-hit
wonder in the fragrance department. Later this year, the pair
will launch an encore scent called Belong, which aims to
duplicate the rousing success of Celine Dion Parfums and
its flanker scent, Celine Dion Notes.

The house of Celine Dion — as Coty executives
refer to the celebrity’s growing fragrance portfolio —
already has amassed global retail sales
close to $100 million. The addition of Belong
is expected to bump retail sales across
the franchise to $120 million.

 Industry sources estimate celebrities
earn 3 to 5 percent in royalties, meaning
Céline Dion could take home $3.6 million to $6 million,
not including any signing bonus she may have received.

The singer’s sophomore effort, which hinges on the tag line
“Belong to the moment,” is designed to reveal the candid,
offstage personality of Céline. “This fragrance is
about celebrating life,”professes the performer in
a mood video that will be shown in some retailer accounts.

“Let the world see the real you and always belong to the moment.
It’s about a women’s inner beauty, her confidence, her passion,
and her sensuality. It’s the way I like to feel about myself.”

Coty has a staggered launch strategy, bowing in the mid
tier department stores and in Europe April 1, and in the
mass channel six months later.

New Research Initiative Takes Aim at Cystic Fibrosis

The Board of Directors of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
(CCFF) announced today the launch of a new $6-million research
program called Breathe (Basic Research and Therapy). This
ambitious research initiative will fund two teams of scientific and

Céline Dion finds purpose in comforting gift

A husband and wife who lost two sons in the Sept. 11, 2001, attack on the
World Trade Center in New York wanted Celine Dion to have a badge
that belonged to one of the slain siblings.
One was a New York firefighter, the other a New York police officer
In another instance, a woman who survived 9-11 recalled to Céline the
horror of seeing one of the hijacked jets flying into her tower.

The Caesars Palace headliner has opened her dressing room and
her heart to families seeking comfort through her music. Often,
with the show two minutes away, she's on the telephone offering
words of hope to the dying because, she said, "I have this gift."

One man called and asked whether he could record Céline's
comforting message to play over and over to his wife.
Others have died while she was holding their hand.
"I heard their last breath," she said, choking up. "
I feel very fortunate.
I feel like I'm escorting them to heaven,"
Céline said during a backstage interview after her show Saturday.

Céline starts a holiday break from her show on December 13
in Los Angeles, taping an installment of
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for a Friday airing. Tuesday,
she's on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
She will spend her Christmas holidays in Quebec with her
family and will return to the Colosseum on December 28.

Céline Dion gets one-year extension at
Caesars Palace

Céline canceled her yesterday's show, but her husband/manager announced
she will more than make up for it by extending her Caesars Palace residency
by one more year. Rene Angelil broke the news to reporters at a previously
planned news conference, after ticket-buyers had been told the singer
contracted a sinus infection and canceled all shows through Sunday.

Originally contracted for three years, Céline will now be the main
attraction at Caesars' Colosseum beyond March 2007.
She performs about 200 shows per year. Caesars Palace does
not share ticket revenue from the show produced
by the Concerts West division of Anschutz Entertainment Group.
Angelil said they were offered "a very long period" of extension,
 but opted for one year.

"Today (yesterday), she has difficulties in breathing, her nose
is blocked", confessed René Angélil. Yesterday, the singer was
visited by two doctors, who diagnosed an infection to the sinus.
"We had to cancel her shows till Sunday,
so the next show will be performed on
next Wednesday", said Mr. Angélil.
"Of course, all the fans who were supposed to see the show
will be reimbursed and they'll be able to come and see
the show when they want!"

As a consolation, the Colosseum audience watched the show
recorded for the DVD -on the big screen of the Colosseum,
which will be released in a few weeks.

According to René, Céline's infection is due to the smoke used on
the stage of World Music Awards, during the performance she
did last Wednesday. "It's not her usual environment."

The smoke which has been used on stage is not the
same that we use in the show usually" explains the singer's
husband and manager. "In 'A New Day', it's a water-based
smoke whereas the WMA one was a chemical one.
Céline is allergic to all this kind of products".

in Las Vegas. Actor Michael Douglas will honor the singer,
handing her the prestigious award.

Nearly 175 million albums!!!
One month ago, the World Music Awards organization gave the
news to the singer & her husband. "It is extraordinary,
Céline is so happy and proud!".
Before receiving her price, the organizers of the ceremony made a
point to know the exact number of disks that the singer sold.
"They made several checks: Billboard, Soundscan
& all the Majors data", Rene Angélil explained.
According to figures' of sales certified by Sony, Céline sold, from
 1987 to August 31, 2004, a great total of 174,436,400
albums around the world. The sales of her first twelve albums,
in French, recorded before the signing of her contract
with Sony, in 1987, do not even appear on the impressive bill.
"According to Sony, it is a record of sale which will never be beaten",
Rene Angélil affirmed proudly. "I am convinced
that all the Quebecers will be proud of her when they will
see Céline getting that award", the manager says.
During the ceremony of the WMA, Céline will also perform

Céline & René Fall in Love With The
 'Opportunity Village'

Until now, Celine Dion has been taking baby steps with her
charitable involvement in Las Vegas.

No more. Diva Las Vegas announced Tuesday that on Easter she is
turning over proceeds from every seat to her "A New Day ... " show at
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to Opportunity Village, a local
nonprofit organization serving those with intellectual disabilities.

"Wow. That's all anyone around here can say today," a still-stunned
Linda Smith, chief development officer of Opportunity Village, told
VegasBeat in a phone conversation after Dion's announcement.
If every ticket is sold, the donation could end up topping $1 million,
Smith said.

Dion's spokeswoman Kris Lingle told us that it is not the first, but this was
"far and away" the largest donation Dion has made to a Las Vegas charity.

In a statement, Dion said that she and her husband, Rene Angelil,
"have fallen in love with this wonderful organization
and the brave individuals it serves."

"Opportunity Village has been working so hard ... helping thousands of
adults with disabilities and their families. They deserve international
exposure
and I am honored to be able to help them deliver their
message on behalf of people with profound disabilities."

Dion is donating the proceeds from 3,700 tickets for the April 11
performance. Caesars Palace is donating the other 400 seats in
the room for Opportunity Village to sell as special packages
that include a meet-and-greet with Dion.

"We have waited 50 years for something like this to happen to
us" Smith said. "Lots of Las Vegas entertainers --especially
Wayne Newton, have been extraordinarily generous to us,
 but this is special."

It should be noted that the "Trooper of the Evening Grammy"
--if there was such a thing--should have gone to Céline Dion,
who soldiered through her tribute to Vandross, despite
a broken microphone and an ear monitor that was clearly not working.
That she managed to sing her tribute flawlessly, despite the enormous
technical difficulties, earned her the respect even of those who've
consistently criticized her style.

Backstage, Marx spoke about why Céline Dion was able to relate to Vandross's
"Dance With My Father." "Well, you know, first of all, Celine's one of
the greatest singers we have," Marx said. "Nobody can sing it like Luther, it's
Luther's song, it just embodies Luther. But Celine also can really, it resonates
with her because her father just passed away recently."

Marx accompanied Céline Dion on piano for their special performance of
"Dance With My Father," & backstage, Marx spoke about playing through some
obvious technical glitches. "Hey, I'm just glad I didn't screw up the notes,
you know, "Marx said. "I was okay, Celine was amazing. It totally fazed her,
she was a basket case after the song until I said, 'I promise you, you were awesome.
' She just, she couldn't hear a thing. I mean, she's such a pro, it's amazing."

Celine Dion Parfums, and the perfect complement to build on it
success,"
says Eric  President, Coty Beauty, Americas. Parfum Notes presents
a rich, new interpretation of her original fragrance, that celebrates
Celine's love and understanding of both music and fragrance notes."

Celine Dion Parfum Notes is a deep, romantic floral fragrance.
The top notes have a sensuous crispness, which highlight the floral
heart of Amazon orchid, mimosa, heliotrope and peony.

The bottom notes of rich white musk, natural vetiver, and
sandalwood oil add warmth and sensuality. This floral
harmony is the perfect accompaniment to the original scent.
"Since I was a child, I've used music notes to reach people.

Now I have discovered that fragrance notes are another way for me
to express myself. The composition of notes in both fragrance and music
evoke deep emotions that speak directly to the heart," says Celine.

In creating the fragrance, Celine was moved by her desire to bond
closely with her fans. "It is truly a special feeling to be able to share
the notes of both scent and music with my fans," says Celine.

Celine Dion Parfum Notes will be available in department
stores across  North America in April.
The eau de toilette will be offered in 1 oz and 1.7 oz sizes.

Celine Dion: Heading for the Bahamas

Céline needs a vacation. An upcoming three-week hiatus,
starting this coming Sunday, might be what she needs.
It turns out she had two panic attacks
Friday during her show at Caesars Palace.
"She had a spasm of her respiratory system.
She couldn't breathe and she panicked a couple times,"
said René. Earlier Friday, she had flown to surprise
 Oprah Winfrey at her 50th
birthday party in Los Angeles.

After performing a tribute to Luther Vandross at the
Grammys on Sunday, the international singing star is
heading for the Bahamas for a scheduled vacation.

Céline Dion Cancels Shows

A sinus infection was blamed for canceling Céline's Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows.
She was 40 minutes into her show Friday when she had problems breathing,
Céline's husband/manager René Angelil said Saturday. All tickets will be refunded.

Céline had not missed a show in 14 years until late October, when
she was stricken with the flu. She won't return to
The Colosseum stage until Wednesday, February 4, on
doctor's orders, René said. "She's been fighting this since her father died
in November", he said. "It's not Vegas throat. Her vocal chords are fine."

Staying power?

Will Céline stay beyond her three-year commitment to Caesars?
First, she said, she'll see if Caesars asks her to continue. That seems like a
no-brainer,as she sells out The Colosseum five nights per week and
was rated by Billboard as the second-largest-grossing act in the nation in 2003.
"We're not bored here, or with the show," she said. Céline also might be in Las Vegas
to welcome in another child. She said she and Angelil might give it a try.
"And I quite like it when we give it a try," she cracked.

Dress to impress
Maybe we've watched too much Joan Rivers on the red carpet, but the first question
we asked Céline at a private reception in the Forum Tower penthouse at the
start of the evening, was, "Who are you wearing?"

In her short black dress, simple sling back shoes and matching diamond earrings and
necklace  Céline looked absolutely stunning when she entered the palatial suite to
meet guests who had shelled out $25,000 for the privilege.

"It is Chanel," she told VegasBeat, waving her hand across her dress. "But that is only
because Cartier doesn't make clothes. But (it) did make these," she said, pointing to
her $30,000 Asian Wish necklace and matching $25,000 earrings.

Blond Céline Unlocks New Look

Céline said she feels "like a Barbie" in her new Rapunzel-like platinum blond tresses.
She showed off her makeover Saturday at the Nevada Ballet Theatre's
Black and White Ball, where she was the "Woman of the Year" honoree.

After being saluted before the creme de la creme of Las Vegas society at
Caesars Palace, she told reporters she recently decided she wanted to
"become a blonde for a while, for a moment."

We had to ask, of course, if blondes indeed have more fun. The Caesars
Palace headliner glowed and added, "sometimes. I'm like every woman; I
like to play and have a good time." Life is good, she said, as her
mega show "A New Day..." nears its first-year anniversary in March.

Her son, René Charles, turned 3 yesterday, but the birthday
party was delayed until today (January 26), her day off,
"so we can spend the whole day with him without rushing anything.
We're going to celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese," Céline said, and with
"a cake, Bob the Builder, from A to Z." She addressed the
issue of having a second child, acknowledging that it's in the plans.
"After this project, we've said we'd love to try it again," she said.

Los Angeles
 - Céline broke down in tears as she thanked her late father for being her
"No. 1 fan"during today's ceremony to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"My dad was my No. 1 fan, and he still is," she said before nearly 1,000 fans,
many of them shouting out their condolences.
"How often do natural blondes from Quebec make it big in Hollywood?"
comedian Jay Leno joked when introducing Céline.

She thanked the "Tonight Show" host for inviting her to perform on his show
13 years ago,  giving her a big break on American television.
During the ceremony Céline thanked her husband, Rene Angelil, for helping  her
launch her career and her fans for their support through the years.
"Everything that I have today and where I am is because you put me here,"
 she told the crowd
She rewarded many of them by signing autographs after the ceremony.

 December 18, 2003. Montreal

Céline's voice was choked with emotion yesterday as she
urged the public to donate to a local
children's hospital where her niece died a decade ago.

But she was relatively composed at the event, a stark
contrast to the flow of tears she shed last year at a similar appeal
for donations to Ste-Justine Hospital. Céline & husband/manager
Rene Angelil, both part of the fundraising campaign,
once again urged people to give generously to the hospital.

"Who will benefit from all this money? Our children, our teenagers,
our mothers," said Céline, "It's time for the parents, individuals,
families, all of us to be generous - to open our hearts.
" The life of a child obviously doesn't have a price."

Las Vegas celebrated World Children’s Day on November 19 at the
McDonald’s restaurant located at 2650 W. Sahara.
Celine Dion joined Ken Barun (President and CEO of Ronald McDonald
House & Joann Malone (Ronald McDonald House Executive Director)
in helping to raise awareness for children’s causes.
After Celine remarked on the importance of World Children’s Day,
she took time to read a book to the children,
& to learn how to take food orders, serving Premium Salads
& French Fries at a McDonald’s restaurant.

Celine has won the Favorite AC Artist award at the
American Music Awards.
Celine has also recorded a song from the soundtrack of
"Mona Liza Smile" called
"Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered".

New Miracle project coming out October 2004!
Celine is combining her talents with renowned
photographer Anne Geddes to create the
Miracle project.
It will be an inspiring collection of
images from Anne Geddes and songs from Celine.
It will honor the moving, tender,  and unbreakable
bond of love that exists between a mother and her baby.
With a scheduled release date of October 2004, this
outstanding body of work will be available for distribution
through music sellers and booksellers worldwide.
 Distinctive product releases
are planned
 for both industries.

Saturday night Celine stopped her performance at The Colosseum at
Caesars Palace after belting out "To Love You More" and ran up the aisle
to hug audience members Douglas and Zeta-Jones.

"An Oscar! You so deserve it!" Celine said as Douglas' and Zeta-Jones' faces
were shown on the theater's gigantic LED screen.

The audience -- including Placido Domingo and most of the visiting golf
celebrities -- erupted in a stomping ovation for Zeta-Jones, who hardly
looked as if she had given birth to her second child less than a month ago.

Friday night Robin Leach emceed a high-roller dinner and auction in a
Caesars Palace ballroom. He sold two $135,000 packages
for a private jet ride to Douglas' and Zeta-Jones' home in
Bermuda for a dinner with the couple prepared by
superstar Chef Emeril Lagasse.

The diamond-encrusted Harry Winston his and her watches, which
the couple wore to last year's Oscars, went for $90,000.

Film lord Jeffrey Katzenberg got into the spirit when he offered up, on the spot,
his tickets to the 2004 Academy Awards ceremony. They fetched $45,000.

The Cascata golf outing -- along with the Celine visit -- were filmed by
ABC for broadcast after the July 20 British Open.

"It was an awesome weekend," Douglas said Sunday afternoon.

Céline Sings on Two Fund-Raising Albums
October 2, 2001
Organizers of the September 21st two-hour fundraiser, 'America: A Tribute to Heroes,
' are now working to put together both CD and DVD versions of the telethon.
The artists involved in the telethon have agreed to waive their
royalty fees for the album, so that all proceeds will go to the United Way fund.

Performers included Céline Dion, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon,
Tom Petty, Mariah Carey and Sheryl Crowe, among others.
Another fundraising CD titled 'God Bless America' is scheduled to be released
by Sony Music on Tuesday, October 23.
This benefit album is in support of the Twin Towers Fund.

The album features Celine singing "God Bless America," which is also included
in the 'America: A Tribute to Heroes' CD/DVD.
Other artists included are Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Billy Gilman.

A substantial portion of the album proceeds
will be donated to the Twin Towers Fund, which aids the families
of Police, Fire, EMS and other city employees involved in rescue efforts.

Here is an article from the New York Daily News paper:
"Telethon 'Heroes' to Waive Royalties From Live Album
A CD featuring music from Friday night's historic telethon
will be out in a matter of weeks.
The album will be released by Interscope Music in the United States, and
Sony Music will distribute it internationally. It was Interscope CEO Jimmy
Iovine who lined up Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young,
Celine Dion, Limp Bizkit and the others who performed on the two-hour telecast.
The album's price tag has not been set, but the artists have waived
royalty fees and the record companies will absorb the manufacturing &
distribution expenses so that all proceeds go to the September 11th Telethon Fund.
Music-industry insiders are predicting that the record will sell from 10
million to 15 million copies.
Dreamworks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, who has been credited with
getting Hollywood mainstays such as Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise,
Cameron Diaz and Jack Nicholson to participate, is also responsible for the title,
"America: A Tribute to Heroes."
The telethon turned into a simulcast on all four major networks after
NBC& CBS, which had been planning separate events, decided to hook up
rather than compete. The result was an unforgettable broadcast that struck the
right tone during this very complex and emotional time."

Céline To Participate In Benefit Concert For Victims of
 September 11th Events
September 27, 2001
As many as 100 performers have confirmed their participation in the mega show
Québec / New York - A Show for Life, which will take place this Friday,
September 28 at the Molson Centre in Montréal, Québec. Celebrities, both
local & international, have joined ranks to offer their support and pay homage to
the moral strength of humanity. Among them will be Céline Dion, Éric Lapointe,
Kevin Parent, Peter Gabriel, Marie-Denise Pelletier, Linda Thali, members
of Cirque du Soleil, and Bob Walsh (in link-up from Québec City).
All proceeds generated by the event will be given to the
Red Cross
Funds will go towards supporting the efforts of the US Red Cross, whose
professional emergency teams are presently active in New York.
The concert is expected to last five hours and an edited version will be
broadcast live on the TQS television network.

We are celebrating the success of the "America: A Tribute to Heroes"
telethon that so far has raised $150 million.
Event producer and director JOEL GALLEN says the figure may get as high as
$200 million once all the accounting is done.
DAVID FOSTER produced CELINE DION' s beautiful rendition of
"God Bless America" for the benefit.
He rehearsed and recorded the song with Celine in Montreal on Thursday night.
They worked until 5:00 a.m. in the morning then flew to New York for
Celine to perform live on the telethon that night, Friday. He told us that he &
Celine cried together while recording the song because, as he put it,
"she looks at her son and she looks at the state of the world."

Celine Still Singing for America

The attack on America has resulted in a call to action for semi-retired,
French-Canadian pop diva Celine Dion.
Not only was she and her rendition of "God Bless America" a highlight of
last Friday night's "America: A Tribute to Heroes" TV event, but her agent
announced on Tuesday that she'll be lending her presence &
voice to help further the cause. This Friday, Dion, 33, will headline a
five-hour show in Montreal for which proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
She'll join nearly 200 Quebec artists, including members of the celebrated
Cirque du Soleil troupe, in a "Quebec-New York" benefit at the Molson Centre,
home of the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens.
She reportedly will sing her hit, "L'Amour Existe Encore" ("Love Still Exists").
Until this week, Dion had been partaking of a self-imposed, three-year sabbatical
from show business in order to care for her 8-month-old son, Rene-Charles.
The singer, who is married to her manager, Rene Angelil, has said that she plans
her comeback in a musical in Las Vegas in 2003.
Meanwhile, in related news, according to a study appearing Tuesday in the
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, listening to music is one
of the most effective ways to relieve stress during troubled times such as these.
"People now are using music to help them deal with sadness and fear,"
said Dr. Anne Blood, a researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital.
"We are showing in our study that music is triggering systems in the
brain that make them feel happy.
" So, sing out, Celine"

Celine Dion performs "God Bless America" during the live broadcast
of "America: A Tribute to Heroes" with "My City in Ruins,"
Friday, Sept. 21, 2001 in New York. In an extraordinary benefit
across the television dial, entertainers from Tom Hanks to Bruce Springsteen united Friday to raise money for victims of the
World Trade Center and Pentagon terrorist attacks.
