My New Day Concert Experience

Well it's March 26 and we are driving to the airport in Indianapolis.
We are so excited and somewhat nervous at the same time.
I was nervous about flying for the first time but my husband
was more at ease with it than me.

I start walking into the plane & got nervous because
it seems to me that the seats are so close together.
I told the man that  I was sitting by that it was my
time for flying & that I would try not to scream &
that I was nervous about it. He says (laughing)
" Well if you grab anyone grab your husband & not me".

As we took off I thought I was going to start hyperventilating
but my husband just kept talking to me until we leveled off.
Then I got better but when we had some turbulence I
wanted to scream "Take me Home".
I finally started to put my ear phones on to listen
to Celine's new CD to help clam me down.

Well we got to Caesars where we were staying & took our luggage up to
our room. Then we decided to do some site seeing at Caesars Palace.
We didn't see Celine's show until the next night so we just thought we
would just look around. There is so much to see in Vegas. As we were
walking I spotted the "Celine Dion" store. So we had to go in it.
It's a wonderful store for Celine fans. It has a lot of merchandise to see.
I think I went to that store about 4 or 5 times while we there. Its hard to
decide what to buy when you want to buy 1 of everything !!!!
I did buy some pictures, postcards, a candle, 2 t-shirts, a key chain, a frame,
the program book and a business card holder. But they had so much more.
They had some beautiful music boxes. Each one priced a little higher &
being a little bigger. All three had different images of Celine. One played
the song "When I Fall In Love", the other "My Heart Will Go On"
I cannot think of the other song right now but they were beautiful
music boxes. They had jewelry, pill holders, playing cards, mugs, &
pajamas that had Celine's song titles written all over them. Also they
had golf balls, & hats & more.

On the day of the concert we were in the store again & I was wearing
a shirt that I put an iron transfer on the back of that has the name of our site
along with our URL. Someone tapped me on the shoulder & he asked
me if I was connected with this web site. I turned around & I said yes
I'm the webmaster. ( At the same time I was talking to him & got out one
of our business cards out to give to him) Then he said "I'm one of the
dancers in the show." I said "You must so thrilled to be able to work
with Celine & be in this type of concert" You could tell that he was happy
doing the kind of work that he does. His name was "Lance" & he was
a super nice guy. We really enjoyed talking with him.

Well its concert time now on Thursday the 27th. We get in line to get
into the Colosseum. When we got inside they had things there to
purchase as well. Champagne, drinks, water bottles with the picture
silhouette of Celine on it & candy. I had bought a little bar of  white
chocolate & forgot about it till we got back to our room & it had melted.
There was a picture silhouette of Celine on it too.

Well we found our seats & I must say that the seats were very comfortable
& they were like red velvet & they rock & they also have drink holders.
With the stage being so big I can see how everyone has a good seat.
The show is very visual. There is so much too see.
A person really needs to go to it 3 times. First to just
watch Celine then second to see the dancers & third to see the props &
decorations. To see a flowering tree come up on the stage & dancers
on swings & lamp posts in the air it was breathtaking. When Celine
starting singing "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." it caught me
off guard & I started crying. They did the song so beautiful & I saw
as Celine was being raised from the floor that she had some ballet
instruction as to how to hold her arms & feet. I can appreciate the
Art of Dance, as I studied it for 12 years but quit after that.
It's very hard work It is also an art that you have to be consistent
with. It seems to be different now in form then it use to be.

Celine starts singing the song "If I Could" & dedicates this song
to her son. I fell in love with this song & I hope she records it soon.
It was nice hearing Celine sing songs that aren't on her albums.
I'm sure that helps keep her motivated & energized to sing different
songs other than the ones on her albums. It was awesome to see the
piano floating in the air, & picture frames & musical instruments.
After the show as we were waiting to get out of the Colosseum &
Celine's husband  "Rene" passes us as my husband's gets to
shake his hand.

Everything looked so real & beautiful with colors galore.
I only wished that my grand-children were there
as well to watch their faces as they watch a show
like this. It's almost indescribable.
"WHAT A WONDERFUL SHOW"
"WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD"
"WE AMERICANS ARE BLESSED TO BE IN."

TIPS FOR VEGAS

P.S.
I just wanted to add that we got to meet
one of our Celine friends that lived in
Belgium but now lives in Germany.
We had a wonderful time with you Marc.
Hope we can get together again someday.
